Three ACT projects announced for RDA Fund full application stage

Regional Development Australia ACT welcomes the announcement of the three Australian Capital Territory projects that will proceed to the full application stage for Round Two of the Regional Development Australia Fund (RDAF).
The projects selected to proceed to full application are:
•  Snowy Hydro SouthCare Fund Building – Snowy Hydro SouthCare Fund
•  Canberra Avenue Bus Priority Measures and Cycle Lanes – Territory and Municipal Services, ACT Government
•  Focused Aged Care Primary Care Services – West Belconnen Health Cooperative Ltd

The RDAF will invest funding of almost $1 billion over five years, which is designed to boost economic and community development in regional Australia.  The Round Two investment will be $200 million.

The closing date for full applications is 15 February 2012.  The Department of Regional Australia, Local Government, Arts and Sport will then assess all applications to ensure compliance with the RDAF Guidelines.  Eligible applications will then be assessed by an Independent Advisory Panel, with funded projects to be announced mid-year.
