In November of last year, Canberra Business Chamber was proud to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HMAS Canberra. Under the MoU, the two parties committed to  work together to promote the Canberra Region as a tourism and business destination.

‘When circumstances allow provide the Canberra Business Chamber with a venue to showcase products for the Canberra region domestically and internationally’.

Canberra Business Chamber,  in partnership with the National Convention Centre will be hosting a Canberra Region Food and Beverage Supplier Showcase for HMAS Canberra representatives who are keen to purchase local produce to be taken to the RIMPAC 2016 exercise in Hawaii on the 3 July 2016.  HMAS Canberra will be hosting Australia’s official reception for the participating 30 countries with 900 guests expected.  This is a great opportunity to exhibit your produce to the world!

It is also expected that the ship would seek to showcase Canberra region food and beverage on an ongoing basis.
