RDA ACT farewells our Executive Director Liz Veitch

The RDA ACT Committee farewells retiring Executive Director Liz Veitch.  Liz has worked with RDA ACT, and its previous iterations, for some eleven years, leading the SERREE Renewable Energy Industry Cluster amongst other successful economic development initiatives.

Liz has enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people in her time with RDA ACT, it’s been the best part of the job!

"Our team’s contribution to collaboratively developing the work of the renewable energy industry in this region to support economic development outcomes including new jobs, business growth, investment into the region, and community understanding and thus uptake of renewables has also been rewarding."

"However, I know I leave our latest initiative - developing a supply chain of agricultural produce from the broader Capital Region for distribution through Pakfresh’s Export Hub at the Canberra Airport in the competent hands of the new RDA ACT leadership, and the regional RDA CEOs, and I wish the team every success in this and other ventures."

"The context of life’s highs and lows may be about to change for me, but I'll continue to enjoy it all!"

Liz’s last day with RDA ACT is Friday 20th July, and shortly after that she’ll be away on the first of many 4WD adventures to meet the many special people and visit the many special places in Australia, and beyond!

The RDA ACT Committtee and Team wish Liz all the best in her future travels and retirement to the farm. You will be missed!
