Australian Food and Grocery Council: Sustainability Seminar

The inaugural AFGC Sustainability Seminar will gather together leaders in the fields of water, energy, responsible sourcing, food waste and packaging to provide an opportunity for sustainability, packaging and corporate affairs executives of the Australian food, beverage and grocery manufacturer community to be informed and discuss emerging issues within our industry.

With growing community and government interest in the areas of responsible sourcing, food waste and recycling, the seminar provides an opportunity to gain insight on current industry risks, trends and opportunities from thought leaders and industry peers. Presenters range from food and grocery companies highlighting best practice initiatives, industry service providers highlighting the latest innovations in sustainable manufacturing to waste industry professionals providing a perspective on the global calls for reducing food waste while increasing recycling to development of a circular economy.

The aim of the day is to provide real life examples and highlight opportunities for food, beverage and grocery companies to adapt to the emerging risks and trends while generating sustainable growth.
