RDA ACT seeks P/t Executive Officer

Please note the application process has now closed.

Regional Development Australia (RDA) is a national network of Committees made up of local leaders who work with all levels of government, business and community groups to support the economic development of their regions.

The strategies and goals of RDAs are changing to meet future demands.  The RDA ACT Committee is currently in the process of employing a Director of Regional Development (DRD) to lead this innovative organisation which is committed to developing the ACT’s regional economy and preparing it for the future.

The RDA ACT Committee is now seeking a part-time Executive Officer (EO) to work with the DRD position. The RDA ACT Executive Officer role will focus on administration, report writing, meeting preparation, seeking additional funding support, organising events and communications – website and e-news.

Applicants for the EO position will be highly effective communicators, understand governance and appreciate the ACT Region.  They will be organised, productive, motivated, and enjoy working independently as part of a small team.

The position is funded to 31/12/2020.  Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on relevant skills and qualifications.  It is expected that the successful applicant will be available for work on weekdays between 9.30 am and 2.30 pm, a total of 25 hours per week, though this may be negotiable for the right candidate.
