Smart Cities Roundtables rolling out across the country

Over the coming month, the Government will be working with representatives from state, territory and local governments, technology companies and research organisations to develop the detailed design of the Smart Cities and Suburbs Program.

Roundtables around Australia will introduce the Smart Cities and Suburbs Program and encourage input on how the program can be designed to best meet local government and community needs.

Councils are encouraged to attend the roundtables as crucial stakeholders and an important partner in delivering this program and the sector's input will help realise the full potential of our cities and suburbs.

Roundtables are being held in:

  • Melbourne: 14 September, 9:30am to 12pm (with a networking lunch following)
  • Adelaide: 15 September, 9:30am to 12pm (with a networking lunch following)
  • Perth: 16 September, 9:30am to 12pm (with a networking lunch following)
  • Sydney: 19 September, 9:30am to 12pm (with a networking lunch following)
  • Sydney: 19 September, 2:30pm to 5pm
  • Rockhampton: 22 September, 9:30am to 12pm (with a networking lunch following)
  • Brisbane: 23 September, 9:30am to 12pm (with a networking lunch following)
  • Brisbane: 23 September, 2:30pm to 5pm
  • Hobart: date to be confirmed
