A key component of the work of the Regional Development Australia Committees is to reflect the combined views of the region which they cover.
To this end, the Committee and the secretariat utilise a range of mechanisms to engage with community stakeholders, be they representative groups from the community or specific sectors, or indeed individuals.
In 2011, the RDA ACT hosted the Canberra Leaders Consultative Forum, which provided material and information for inclusion in the 2011/2012 iteration of the RDA ACT Strategic Regional Plan.
In 2012, the RDA ACT is surveying it’s stakeholder database in order to test the currency of the 2011/2012 plan and to refresh if required.
We have also established an online forum, and occasional Poll within this website. Please feel free to contribute and add to them as you think appropriate. We appreciate thoughtful and relevant local information, ideas and opinions.
